The trend is more than obvious. Organic raw materials do play an increasing role in the cosmetics industry. Cremer Oleo from Hamburg, Germany, and Cremer Care, their division for cosmetic raw materials, recently became the only global producer that offer organic fatty acids and emulsifiers from certified organic oils. Thus the motto of the North German company – ‘Inspired By Nature’ – is forcefully animated.

Their associated company Prignitzer Chemie from Wittenberge, Germany is the first company that made it their quintessential task to process certified oils into organic derivatives and consequently also organic emulsifiers.

Cremer Business Unit Manager Patrick Knüppel emphasises the noteworthiness of this alliance: ‘Our company’s focus on natural cosmetics and organic raw materials has thus been reflected to the full extent. We are very glad to have become the producer and provider for a ressource that has – up to now – not been available.’ The need for organic cosmetic ingredients is constantly growing and this very much ties in with the people’s awareness for sustainability. ‘With this worldwide unique organic product we fully meet all expectations’, Patrick Knüppel adds.

For the first time raw materials on a purely organic basis can be used for (liquid) soaps and other cosmetics and toiletries – products in which fatty acids and emulsifiers are used. With this commitment the Hamburg Company group can guarantee an integrated production process of natural cosmetics raw materials on a purely organic basis.
